Glenn Oaks/Glenview Sire Profiles
Yarrawonga Oberg (P)Oberg is the most impressive poll bull that has clicked well with our females. His sons have sold to a top of $37,500 being Glenn Oaks Braveheart who was purchased by "Warenda". At the recent Warenda reduction sale his calves were so impressive that he was purchased in partnership by Phillip and Sylvia Kirkby $26,000 and 5 semen packages were sold for $10,000. Glenview Barbados was sold to Hardigreen Park for $32,500. His first calves have just been weaned and are most impressive one son will be shown at this years Brisbane Exhibition. Glenn Oaks Benedict (out of Glenn Oaks Milly) was sold privately to the Courts family of Glenalbyn Stud. In 2008 Glenn Oaks Cooper won the 14 - 16 month class at the Brisbane Exhibition. He created great interest and was sold to the Dangarfield Stud for $25,000. Glenn Oaks Banker was sold to Hardigreen Park Stud at the annual 2008 Santa Central for $18,000. Other sons have sold into the Gralyn Stud and two bulls to the Dangarfield Stud. Whilst the bull have been very successful it is his even line of females that we think will benefit us greatly. | ||
Yarrawonga SirSir was a successful show bull, he is a medium frame bull with excellent muscle while retaining softness and doing ability. His first son "Drayton" out of Glenn Oaks Gretchin was the result of him being used over show females in 2007 and will be in this year's sale (2009). We have some very good yearling cattle by Sire and have just weaned more lately. These will be offered at next year's Santa Central Sale (2010). |
Yarrawonga RoyalRoyal was loaned to us by Yarrawonga for one season. He is almost picture perfect in appearance - a big dark cleaned poll bull. He was very fertile and attained over 95% pregnancy result. This result will be the only sons to be offered by us. |
